I didn't sleep well last night. Just lots of thoughts and emotions in my head I guess.
We were lucky the rain held off yesterday until we got back. Most of the time during the rainy season it's pleasant and even sometimes sunny in the morning but in the afternoon you can see the dark clouds rolling in for some good down pours. The temperatures are in the mid 60s during the day or 70. The dampness though makes it feel cooler.
I mentioned we are on a road with some embassies. Some of those are from Turkey, Denmark, Brazil, Portugal, Romania, and South Sudan.
Today we go to the orphanage at 10 to meet with the nurse about Yosef and get lots of details about his preferences, routines, likes/dislikes. We will leave and go to the grocery store to get some Ethiopian cultural food for him in addition to all we brought. We plan to do some sight seeing and be back at 3 after his nap for the coffee ceremony.
Please pray for us all, especially him! We will update tonight when we can. It may be much briefer since we will have a 2 year old :)
