UGH
About two weeks ago Josh and I went and had our physicals done to update our paperwork for the dossier. We have to be tested for all kinds of communicable diseases, STDs, HIV, TB, etc. Our doctors sign off saying they feel that we are fit to be parents physically, emotionally, etc. The doctor copies it on their letterhead, signs it and then we get it notarized. Should be fairly simple, but for some reason it never is.
We thought we had it done correctly but I sent them off to be authenticated in Washington DC and it appears that one of the doctor's signatures is photocopied and not the original signature. I suppose the doctor's office make a copy and gave it to us instead of the original. I had not noticed because it's in black ink...so it's REALLY hard to tell...but apparently someone can. SO, we get to redo our forms this week. Boo. At least we don't have to have blood drawn again.
