All the documents that we have had to submit for our dossier eventually expire. Today we had our social worker, Francie, come for a visit to update our homestudy. In NC, homestudies are valid for 18 months so it was time to update. I really do enjoy talking to Francie because she is so good at her job and wants to educate us as much as possible about what we are getting into (which we need and want!)
We also within the next few weeks have to get new fingerprinting done for the FBI to rerun our prints (to make sure we aren't criminals) AND have child abuse clearances done.
It's rather frustrating because of course we have to pay for all these updates....but there is nothing we can do, but to keep on trusting in God and wait for His time.
