Produce boxes done!

We've sold and delivered 82 produce boxes over the last two and a half weeks.  Whew!  We made $574 toward travel expenses!

As two and a half weeks progressed, of course the weather did too which changed up some of the produce.  The last boxes we delivered included lettuce, new potatoes, broccoli, tomatoes, cucumbers, cabbage, and cherries.  We are hopeful we may be able to do more produce boxes in the fall (mid September).  If we do it in Raleigh, I'll let you know Mrs. Cira :)
We had $3500 toward travel before this so now our grand total is $  4074!!!
Our goal is in the $8K-$10K range...but little by little God is getting us there.  We are taking a break from fundraisers now for the summer.  We've had a fundraiser every month since February.  That has been exhausting! 

We have another new food fundraiser we are investigating for the fall.  I'll keep you posted.  Until then we are just waiting, waiting, and more waiting.  We will have been on the waiting list a year in March 2012 which is close to when we hope to get a call.
