Verse

I tell you the truth, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you (Matthew 17:20).

Constants

Since you don't hear from Josh that much, I asked him to write this blog post.

As a math person there is nothing that I like better than constants.  The one thing that does not change is how I feel about this adoption.   At this point in our lives there are so many variables that seem to be changing.  I love the fact that the one thing that is constant is the one thing I would have never thought would be a part of my life.  It's crazy that I find myself praying and starting to love a child I have never seen, who may or may not be born.  I can not wait for the day when there are 3 wild and crazy little Cox boys running around.

I tried to find something in the Bible to help make sense of things, and I find myself looking at Noah.  You know that in building the ark there were problems.  You know Noah hit his thumb, you know his family had to question what he was thinking, but that’s not the story.  Noah keep his constant and completed his job.  Right now I need to remember to be thankful for the constants and patient with the variables.  Because the variables are only variables to me, to God they are all Constants.
