On March 14 when I was reading my daily devotion, I really felt like God spoke to me through His scriptures in Deuteronomy 8:15-18. I was quite surprised how those verses just really stuck out to me as I was reading because often I don't read the Old Testament expecting to truly find meaning in it for my daily life. As I read those stories about the Israelites I certainly believe them but don't always feel like they are applicable to my life. Clearly this is a mistake and God practically highlighted my Bible for me as I was reading on Monday.
I'm not going to type those verses word for word, but the main part that stuck out to me said "He did all this so you would never say to yourself, 'I have achieved this wealth with my own strength and energy.' Remember the Lord your God."
I believe that we are in the process of learning that it isn't about us and our time. It's all about God and His perfect time.
That is a beautiful testimony, Amy. It is always at God's time.

God keeps sending all of us His word that everything is going to be alright. Sometimes it takes us a minute, but we are getting the message. Keep trusting, keep believing. God has the child for you. Think about it - It might not be born yet.
